Hodgenville is the county seat of LaRue County and sits along the North Fork of the Nolin River. Hodgenville is centrally located and the city is known for being the birthplace of the 16th President Abraham Lincoln. Hodgenville offers a unique mixture of historic buildings and fun shops. The city is home to two national sites (Lincoln's birthplace and boyhood home). With a population of right around 3,200 people, Hodgenville is a small town but its location to Elizabethtown makes it a place many like to call home.
